unique dining experience - the Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth with Head Chef, Prosenjit Kumar
Dear all, attached are the details of an event we are holding on the 20th March, in Falmouth . Hosted at the Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth with Head Chef, Prosenjit Kumar, a champion of sourcing local produce which supports a wealth of small local businesses. Prosenjit trained with Raymond Blanc and was formerly Chef in Charge to HRH King Fahad of Saudi Arabia . This exotic and varied career is evident in his treatment of local seasonal produce and promises to be a unique dining experience.
In addition to this we will be raising funds to enable members of the Fal Oyster Presidia to attend the Slow Fish event this April in Genoa . The Fal Oystermen hand dredge using sail or oar powered boats only.
Members of the Fal Oyster Presidia are from the oyster fishing, processing and producing professions so not just the oystermen. The objective is to open up new markets for them at this important international event. They will also be to exchange knowledge on sustainable fishing practices and other challenges and opportunities facing the industry through the series of talks and workshops.
You may be in the area, or you may want to come along for a little break and the Greenbank are kindly offering discounted over night stays.
Please pass this on to your members.
See attached for details.
Warm regards, Katy
